so... that's really not that bad. clearly that girl wasn't all that great. it might be because i live in a city where the young people seem to pride themselves on 'being awkward' all the time. but i think that if she was worthwhile, (especially if it was clear you were a little tipsy), she would have just giggled at you a little (because it is kindof a funny thing to say, in an adorable kind of way), and then agreed and given you her number.

so.

your posts make me smile though.

I mean, obviously I could only say something like that when I had a malevolent gleam in my eye. I accompanied it with an evil cackle and rubbed my hands together gleefully. "I need more of you in my lifestyle, my precious, yesss!"

Heh actually I was kind of tipsy, so imagine a fuzzy approximation of eye contact and an earnest, hopeful sort of expression, and maybe a half-ironic almost-grin. But, listen, I can barely operate this machinery when sober, so, for all I know, from the outside, what I think was "hopefully earnest" came across as "maniacally insane." I wouldn't be surprised.

It sounds creepy, but it really depends on what your expression was when you said it. You could go from innoncent to perverted mall santa.

OK, that's the worst one I've ever heard.

And I was present when a man mistakenly asked an insanely attractive waitress at a bar in Florida for a GROPER sandwhich.
